The villain in this movie is a guinea pig called Lulu. Superman is then abducted by her and now Krypto’s mission is to save his friend and the metropolis and he’s got a super cast to help him out in exchange for training them to be superheroes.

They go through some silly situations and learn vital lessons from each other growing their friendship the feel this movie is great and focuses on some important moral messages and comes across as a nice family movie with some fun action and comedy for the whole family.

DC Pets Review

The cast themselves said in an interview about the idea of Superheroes having pets: “it seems so simple, so easy but nobody’s obviously cracked the code until now when you have the opportunity to take that idea and be a part of the cast of characters that can amplify and bring it to life”.

The movie is full of laughs and fun courtesy of the all-star cast lending their voices.

Dwayne Johnson plays Krypto, Kevin Hart is his new pal Ace and they’re joined by John Krasinski SNL alums Kate McKinnon and Vanessa Bayer, Diego Luna and the one and only Keanu Reeves with Batman’s voice.

It really is such a fun and laugh out loud funny movie and that dynamic between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart that’s on display in that interview shines through in the movie and the whole cast just nails it.
